Where is St. Julien l'Ars?
St. Julien l'Ars lies just east of Poitiers, in the Poitou-Charentes region of France.
The area is centrally located, just south of the Loire Valley, east of the Atlantic Coast, and north of Bordeaux. For our exact location, please see the map.

Are you looking for additional company members, teaching faculty or staff?
Ardeo Theatre Project is currently accepting resumes for the following positions:

French Teaching Fellowships: up to two PhD teaching fellowships will be awarded each semester. Candidates should have an interest in French theatre history and translation. For information on fellowships, please contact Education Director Rachel Atkins at rachel@ardeo.org.

How can I become a Guest Artist for your company and/or education programs?
Ardeo invites a range of master teachers and guest artists each semester to work with the company and to join our full-time faculty for the Ensemble Theatre Training and French Studies programs. If you are specialized in a field of theatre, dance, music, or French language or literature that complements our curricula, contact Guest Artist Liaison Mik Kuhlman at mik@ardeo.org.

How can I support the Project?
We are open to partnerships with organizations that share our vision, including theatre companies interested in co-producing. We also have opportunities for volunteers who can help us do outreach, promotions, and fundraising. For more information, please call our Seattle office, below, or visit our Wish List page.

May I come stay at the Château?
Yes! We host guests on request, as space is available. Guests receive room and board and have the option of participating in selected community activities. For accommodation fees and availability, send email to Administrative Director Patrick Soricone at patrick@ardeo.org or call us in France at 011.33.5.49.01.05.76.
