Where is St. Julien l'Ars?
St. Julien l'Ars lies just east of Poitiers, in the Poitou-Charentes region
of France.
The area is centrally located, just south of the Loire Valley, east of the
Atlantic Coast, and north of Bordeaux. For our exact location, please see

Are you looking for additional company members, teaching faculty or
staff?
Ardeo Theatre Project is currently accepting resumes for the following
positions:
French Teaching Fellowships: up to two PhD teaching fellowships will
be awarded each semester. Candidates should have an interest in French
theatre history and translation. For information on fellowships, please
contact Education Director Rachel Atkins at rachel@ardeo.org.
How can I become a Guest Artist for your company and/or education
programs?
Ardeo invites a range of master teachers and guest artists each semester
to work with the company and to join our full-time faculty for the Ensemble
Theatre Training and French Studies programs. If you are specialized in
a field of theatre, dance, music, or French language or literature that
complements our curricula, contact Guest Artist Liaison Mik Kuhlman at
mik@ardeo.org.
How can I support the Project?
We are open to partnerships with organizations that share our vision,
including theatre companies interested in co-producing. We also have opportunities
for volunteers who can help us do outreach, promotions, and fundraising.

Yes! We host guests on request, as space is available. Guests receive
room and board and have the option of participating in selected community
