Ardeo Theatre Project is an American theatre company based in central France. Our theatrical style combines physical theatre and imaginative staging to generate original material and reinterpret existing texts.

Company members live and work together on the estate of the Château de St. Julien, just south of France's Loire Valley. The location informs our work as we draw upon history, language and culture to unite personal experience with ensemble vision.

Ardeo Theatre Project offers fully accredited semester and summer study abroad programs in Ensemble Theatre Training and French Studies. Here, college students and early career professionals engage in intensive training and study while sharing in the life of an artistic community in France.
