Local Leaders Continue to Flourish
On April 4, 2015 we put on an evangelism event called Prayer for Five. Each person in our church promised to pray for five people for a month, without saying anything to them about it. When this time was over, the person praying would call or visit those people to invite them. We as a church prepared presentations such as children’s dance, the youth put on a drama, we gave door prizes for baskets of goodies, and of course our Pastor Lenilde Huamán presented the call to accept Christ.
This was our first event with local leaders. They took on a lot of responsibility to do this event, and it was beautiful to see how our leaders are growing...
We had an attendance of 113 people and 30 decisions for Christ. Right now we are in the follow-up phase, making calls, visiting, and each leader is taking responsibility for those they invited and those that attended the event.
We hope to see a lot of fruit from this harvest for the glory of Jesus.
