40/40 Church Planter
My name is Mackenzie Collins. I completely accepted Christ to be my everything in 2008 at my church districts children’s church camp. Ever since the moment I accepted Christ into my life I knew I wanted to do everything I could to serve Him. For quite a while I wanted to be a therapist or to be a youth pastor.
In 2016 my youth group went on a trip to Arequipa, Peru with Ardeo. That same summer at our district youth camp is when I got my call to missions cross culturally. For a while I didn’t know what that looked like but I committed to be open to go wherever God would call me. In 2017 I got the chance to go to Nepal for roughly 2.5 to 3 months. While there, we worked on tea plantations and taught kids English. That is when I realized I didn’t want to only take trips cross culturally to do missions but I wanted it to be my full-time job.
Now I have been accepted with our Ardeo Global to be a full-time 40/40 missionary in Colombia. Throughout the past few years there have been test and trials, but I have really learned that God‘s timing is always perfect! God has opened this door to my deeper calling and I am beyond excited to serve him, listen, and go!
