Operations Officer

We are seeking a motivated person who is able to manage personnel and multiple tasks as the Operations Officer. This position is responsible for serving newly entering and current Ardeo missionaries. The operations officer oversees all movement within the organization. The focus is that all personnel are well prepared prior to deployment, well equipped during their deployment and well cared for as they transition out of Ardeo.


Job Responsibilities

  • Seek to live out and fulfill the mission and vision of Ardeo

  • Coordinate and participate in the hiring of all Ardeo team members

  • Submit recommendations to the CEO on the appropriate action for all interviewees

  • Manage the church plant deployment calendar

  • Work with the field managers to create effective church planting/job training content and install appropriate teachers/professors

  • Administration of personnel files

  • Administration of disciplinary action, when appropriate

  • Facilitate effective internal communication within Ardeo

  • Assign well-being coordinators to team members/teams when appropriate

  • Provide project management/task prioritization oversight for the IT coordinator

  • Oversee the work of the HR Coordinator to ensure timely processing of personnel

  • Oversee team training

  • Seek to thoroughly understand Ardeo, its history, vision, mission, culture, programs, structure and potential

  • Oversee the work of the Short Term Team Coordinator

Job Requirements

  • Commitment to the purpose, mission and values of Ardeo

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience (preferred)

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Ability to build strong relationships

  • Self motivation

  • Work effectively with others

  • Willingness to learn new foreign language (if applicable)
